Let us help you build the life you want. The facilitation and support team at BDACI assists individuals living with an intellectual disability and their families in ways that will enhance their presence and participation in community life. We work with families to craft their vision for the future and to find supporting opportunities for valued experiences across all spheres of life (employment, recreation, civic contribution and volunteerism). Our facilitation team also assists families, groups, associations, organizations, or other community members to expand skills and knowledge to enhance the inclusion of people living with an intellectual disability in their communities.
Our facilitators are focused on strengthening family members’ efforts and supporting people to take their rightful place as active contributing citizens. We organize, host, and facilitate opportunities for families to connect to one another, while identifying and fostering potential family networks. We develop supportive working relationships with families with a flexible and person-centred approach.
The bottom line: BDACI is here to support you or your loved one in every moment and step of the way as you imagine what’s possible, and put it all into action.
Note: With the people of your choosing and trusted circle and family network, friend and or other supporter the BDACI facilitation team is here to help you plan the life you want. Our facilitators are here to explore and review all possibilities with you. There is support available and you don’t have to do this alone. Connect with us at contactus@bdaci.com or call 613-345-4092.
