The Brockville and District Association for Community Involvement (BDACI or COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT) is a nonprofit, charitable organization founded by family members, to work with and on behalf of children and adults who are identified as having an intellectual disability along with their families.
We believe that all people should live in a state of dignity, share in all elements of living in the community and have the opportunity to participate effectively. We also believe that communities, families and government share in the responsibility of supporting and including citizens with an intellectual disability.
Better known as BDACI or COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT, we are a member of the Federation of Associations called Community Living Ontario. We are also affiliated with the Canadian Association for Community Living which represents over four hundred Associations across Canada.
Community Involvement provides support to people in Leeds and Grenville Counties who have an intellectual disability and their families. For more history on BDACI please see our beginnings page.
